About
Salón Comunal was conceived in 2013 in Bogotá by Colombian artists who envisioned a gallery that could exist in a family home in a traditional neighborhood.
From its inception, the gallery aimed to contribute to the circulation, exhibition, production, education, and commercialization of contemporary art as a response to the lack of institutional support for emerging artists in Colombia.
The contemporary art gallery is understood as a meeting point and a space for the exchange of knowledge, time, and energy for those interested in art. Access to our exhibitions is free.
Our ecosystem consists of the exhibition rooms, three artist-in-residence workshops, and the ceramic objects store.
