For more than forty years, Galería Acacia (1981) has been part of the history of Cuban Art. Today it emphasizes the promotion of new forms of dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, between the expressions of the Cuban Avant-Garde and the emerging practices of the island. Its inclusive identity establishes links between generations, epochs and diverse ways of doing things. In this sense, in addition to carrying out projects with relevant names such as Wifredo Lam, Mariano Rodriguez, Mario Carreño, it includes exhibitions of artists from other promotions of the 80s and 90s. Under this perspective of work, and following a coherent line, we have strengthened our roster with representative artists within Cuban art. Galería Acacia has stood out for the promotion of emerging and consolidated artists whose aesthetic proposals diversify and update the artistic panorama, and has also demonstrated a constant commitment to the diffusion of Cuban art.
