Artwork Description

Where do boundaries fade and the horizon of uncertainty emerges? Adriana Cora invites us to explore those uncomfortable spaces, those we avoid facing. Through her works, the artist envelops us in a visual dialogue that challenges our relationship with strength, silence, and uncertainty. Words become marks that pierce us, reaching deep within, leaving scars we don't always want to acknowledge. In her work, water flows in continuous cycles, the paths are not straight, and the sensation of constant movement reflects the insecurity of our existence. Is it easy to inhabit the abyss of fury? The horizon, as a line that separates and unites, is revealed through the images and sounds of the sea, where the visible and the hidden intertwine in an infinite ebb and flow. The experience evokes a vastness that invites us to lose our gaze and immerse ourselves in a state of contemplation and vulnerability. Is it possible to maintain control amidst this constant tide? We face instability, moving back and forth on a floor that slips through our fingers, as if certainty were an unattainable privilege. Can we find balance on a floor that slips beneath our feet? In Possible Horizon, Adriana offers us mirrors, not just as objects, but as entrances to deep introspection. These soft mirrors reflect our image, inviting us to face who we are, to embrace our contradictions and discomfort. The reflection isn't always kind, but it is essential. Are we comfortable witnessing our own shadows? Art, according to Adriana, is a perpetual discomfort. It reminds us that uncertainty is not a temporary state, but a constant shadow that accompanies every decision, every silence, every unspoken cry. In this exhibition, the artist doesn't give us answers, but rather the opportunity to inhabit doubt, to gaze at the horizon and accept discomfort as an essential part of our being.
